I Scratched My Tattoo

I scratched my tattoo. 28-06-2009 Ive had tattoos I accidentally scratched in the healing process. So the middle of the last scab got a small half a cm cut inside it it bled and i cleaned it but i was wondering if it will have any horrible after effects of if it will just heal like a normal small cut would. How long does it take for it to peel.

If your tattoo feels hard and cracked apply a tiny amount of aftercare cream. Its healing up well there is no scarring or scabbing and in the early healing processes I didnt bleed really nor was there ink loss. A little bit peeled but i could still the black underneath where he scratchedthere is a little bit of skin hanging but i left it there.

22-11-2009 You should not scratch your tattoo until it is COMPLETELY healed. They will fall off when ready. And i also c a little bit of ink their but please would somebody help.

However tonight my cat scratched the middle of the last bit left to heal. What is difficult however is resisting the urge to pick and peel the scabby flakey skin that is part of the tattoo healing process. Will it be alright.
