Do i tip my tattoo artist. This article should make the entire experience a little less painful by simplifying the tipping situation. Let me say that being in cosmo school and working on clients has made ME a more generous tipper bc I so appreciate it when I get tipped myself. Plus the fact that he never charges my husband or me the price that he should charge so we always give him a tip.

26-03-2020 Tipping may not be mandatory but its a way to show that you appreciate all of the hard work and effortphysical and monetarythat your artist put into your new tattoo. The tip itself is up to you. I would say though perhaps a 15-20 tip could be cost prohibitive but Im sure the tattooist would be thrilled if u tipped 20-30.

I tip my artist well as he deserves it. Tipping around 15 is standard for many industries so this is a good starting point. There is not a set amount to tip.
